The 8911 Brake Tool rounds off our portfolio of brake maintenance accessories. It can be used in vehicles of all makes and brands and is specifically designed for the demands of ROMESS equipment. The tool permits its user to work with ease and comfort. It connects with the Onboard Diagnosis Interface (OBD 2) and uses this to communicate with the servomotor. The latter operates the braking system in repair mode; now the brake linings can be changed. On the other hand, it forms vapor bubbles that lower the boiling temperature. This means the more water there is in the brake fluid, the lower the boiling temperature. And because this mixture heats up when the brakes are applied, too high a water content can lead to total failure of the braking system, since not enough brake pressure is allowed to build up.”
